Cheeding JV secures RM13.54mil contract from TNB


KUALA LUMPUR: Cheeding Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Pembinaan Bukit Cheeding Sdn Bhd (PBCSB) with Orasko Sdn Bhd has secured a RM13.54mil contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd for works related to the PMU 132.11kV Genting Sempah, Pahang extension of 2x132kV OHL bays and 132KV overhead line termination.

The job entails the dismantling of existing 132kV primary equipment and the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of new primary equipment with new steel structures. 

It also includes the construction and modification of plinths and associated civil works, completion of all secondary system works including at the remote end, and the installation of new low-level gantries and steel poles with foundations, inclusive of all required testing and commissioning.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the parties will undertake the job via an unincorporated joint venture, of which 60% will be owned by PBCSB and the remaining 40% by Orasko.

The contract is effective from Dec 9, 2025, and shall be completed within 540 days from the commencement date of the works, which has yet to be determined.
