Optimax inks agreement with UM-Wales


PETALING JAYA: Optimax Holdings Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Universiti Malaya-Wales (UM-Wales) to develop a management trainee programme for graduates.

Through this partnership, Optimax will design and develop a comprehensive management trainee programme while UM-Wales will promote this programme to its final-year students and recent graduates.

The collaboration aims to foster meaningful knowledge exchange, encourage interdisciplinary learning, and develop a steady talent pipeline equipped with clinical awareness, industry exposure and evolving digital skills.

Optimax chief executive officer Sandy Tan said the healthcare landscape is evolving fast, driven by technological advancements and rising patient expectations. “To stay ahead, we must nurture young professionals who can bring fresh perspectives to patient-centred care,” she said.
