PR firm bags four wins at Public Relations Global Network awards

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian public relations (PR) and strategic communications agency Perspective Strategies did the country proud by earning gold and silver honours at the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) 2025 Best Practice Awards.

This year’s awards ceremony, held in Nairobi, Kenya, saw the agency take home two gold awards for the categories of Communication to Gen-Z and Influencer Campaigns, and two silver awards for the Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns and Product or Service Launches categories.

The wins in these segments, according to Perspective Strategies, highlights its strengths in consumer marketing communications and its adaptive capabilities in crafting brand storytelling across multiple touchpoints through influencer, digital and experiential strategies.

On a broader level, the recognition represents another step forward in its ongoing mission to elevate Malaysian PR standards internationally.

The accolades also serve to further cement its position as one of the country’s leading integrated communications agencies.

“We are truly honoured with this industry recognition on a global platform,” said Tan May Lee, partner and executive director of Perspective Strategies.

“This gives us a powerful validation of our expertise to deliver integrated 360° communications solutions, where creativity, strategy and meaningful stakeholder engagement come together to drive real impact.”

As a strategic communications firm with services in public affairs, brand communications and stakeholder engagement, Perspective Strategies has amassed years of experience working across an extensive range of industries and businesses.

The agency’s public relations campaigns integrate a digital-first, influencer-led approach with traditional earned and paid media activations.

Bringing dynamic capabilities in strategic storytelling, social engagement and on-ground ideation to its campaigns, it seeks to deliver seamless brand experiences through multi-platform, multi-channel content collaborations.

In addition to marketing communications, the agency specialises in public affairs and advocacy initiatives combining expert insights and human-centred storytelling to drive public awareness and meaningful mindset shifts.

“Our success reflects the breadth of experience within our team and the trust our clients place in us to deliver ideas that cut across audiences, channels and industries,” Tan said.

“We’ve always believed that effective communication lies in understanding people – adapting messages, tone and platforms to connect authentically with each audience.

“We’re proud to represent Malaysia on this global platform, proving that world-class PR excellence thrives right here at home.”

The annual PRGN Best Practice Awards celebrates outstanding public relations and communications campaigns within member agencies of the Public Relations Global Network.

A total of 160 entries were received for the 2025 edition of the PRGN Awards, marking the second highest number in its 14-year long history.

The awards gala in Nairobi was attended by delegates of member agencies from six continents, and honoured winners in 24 categories including business-to-business communications, community relations, crisis management, and social and search engine optimisation campaigns.
