KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kitacon Sdn Bhd, has accepted RM60.805mil letter of award from Sime Darby Property (Lagong) Sdn Bhd for main building works at Taman Perdagangan Elmina in Rawang, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kumpulan Kitacon said the contract covers the construction and completion of 22 units of two-storey semi-detached factories with mezzanine (Type B1), another 22 units of similar factories (Type B2), three TNB substations, as well as ancillary and infrastructure works. Each block includes a refuse chamber and an electric vehicle charging bay.

The project is scheduled to begin on Nov 27, 2025, and will run for 24 months.
