Chin Hin, PTT Synergy ink JV to develop smart warehouses, logistics


KUALA LUMPUR: Chin Hin Bhd has entered into a joint venture with PTT Synergy Group Bhd to develop smart warehouses, smart industrial parks and digital logistics infrastructure.

The parties will set up a joint venture company, which will be 51%-owned by Chin Hin with the remaining 49% held by PTT.

Acccording to Chin Hin, the proposed JV will enable it to expand into the automated warehousing and smart logistics segment, leveraging PTT’s proprietary automation technology and software. 

"The collaboration is expected to enhance Chin Hin’s capabilities in industrial and logistics infrastructure development, aligning with the growing demand for automation solutions in Malaysia and Southeast Asia region," it said in a stock exchange filing.

It added that the project is anticipated to generate new business opportunities and potential recurring income streams, while showcasing Chin Hin’s ability to integrate technology-driven solutions within its construction and industrial divisions.
