AGX Group secures VietJet logistics services deal in Vietnam

KUALA LUMPUR: AGX Group Bhd’s Vietnamese subsidiary, AGX Logistics (Viet Nam) Co. Ltd (AGX Vietnam), has entered into a freight forwarding and customs brokerage services agreement with VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company.

In a statement, the third-party logistics solutions provider said the two-year agreement, effective from Nov 1, 2025, to Oct 31, 2027, covers the provision of freight forwarding and customs brokerage services to support VietJet’s operations.

Under the agreement, AGX Vietnam will provide 24-hour, seven-day-a-week support for VietJet’s “Aircraft on Ground” (AOG) shipments.

The contract’s total value will depend on shipment volume, with charges based on mutually agreed rates and fees.

AGX Group chief executive officer Datuk Ponnudorai Periasamy said Vietnam’s aviation sector is experiencing rapid growth, with VietJet at the forefront of this expansion.

He said AGX is well-positioned to meet this demand by delivering world-class integrated supply chain services tailored to the needs of fast-growing carriers such as VietJet.

“Securing this services agreement reinforces AGX’s successful regional expansion in aerospace logistics. It underscores our ability to win the trust of major airline operators by delivering world-class, reliable and integrated supply chain solutions.”
