FBM KLCI up amid US-China trade optimism, regional gains


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its winning streak for a third straight session on Monday, closing higher amid optimism over U.S.-China trade developments and stronger regional market performance.

At 5pm, the 30-stock index rose 5.11points, or 0.32% to 1,618.38, thanks to buying support in plantation counters. The index moved between 1,623.23 and 1,617.45 throughout the day.
