SEREMBAN: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Golog Holdings Sdn Bhd to jointly develop a 247ha (618 acre) China–Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park in MVV TechValley here.

The development, with an estimated gross development value of RM8bil, will among others have an inland port with facilities and advanced cold chain storage which is set to enhance Malaysia's logistics infrastructure and industrial ecosystem.

The park will be developed in three phases with the first being a 42.4ha (106 acre) logistics hub, followed by an International Logistics Center and a comprehensive industrial park.

Matrix Concepts group executive director Kelvin Lee said Golog Holdings' expertise in artificial intelligence, automation, and intelligent cold chain logistics aligned perfectly with its vision of building an ecosystem that supported future-ready industries.

"We welcome Golog Holdings as one of the pioneering logistics and technology players in MVV

TechValley as their entry will not only enhance the logistics capabilities there but also elevate the entire development as a destination for innovation, high-value industries, and global connectivity.

"Golog is not only a logistics company, but innovators who are redefining the future of intelligent logistics.

"Their smart halal cold chain hub, EV Valley initiatives, and plans for logistics hub in

MVV reflects the kind of forward-looking developments that align with our vision for MVV TechValley," he said in his speech.

Lee also congratulated Golog Holdings on their recent strategic cooperation with China Henan Aviation Group Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Huashi Group Corporation Limited for the development of the China-Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park.

The initiative, with its smart halal regional distribution centre already underway, will

strengthen air cargo capacity between China and Malaysia, further enhancing Malaysia's connectivity and global trade capabilities.

"This partnership is a powerful example of how international collaboration can complement local vision.

"It brings together the strengths of multiple nations, and it places Negri Sembilan through MVV TechValley firmly on the regional logistics map," he said.

Golog Holdings executive chairman and group chief executive officer Ivan Chin said the partnership was not just about land or logistics but hope.

"Together, we believe Malaysia can stand proudly at the heart of the Air Silk Road connecting Asia's industries, cultures, and communities through trust, technology, and friendship.

"When Matrix Concepts, a builder of cities and dreams, joins hands with Golog Holdings,

a company born from innovation and perseverance, something powerful begins to happen," he said in his speech.

Chin said both companies were laying the foundation of the industrial park not just as developers but as bridge builders between nations.

The park will have six centres which are a durian processing and logistics hub, an AI innovation centre, Henan cultural centre, an exhibition Centre showcasing what the two nations can achieve together,  trade centre and an Integrated Digital System, a pulse linking every facility, moving goods, data, and dreams along the Air Silk Road.

State industrial and non-Muslim affairs committee chairman Teo Kok Seong who witnessed the signing described it as more than a corporate partnership.

"It reflects how collaboration, innovation, and vision can drive Malaysia forward, in particular in Negri Sembilan.

"A strong logistics ecosystem is not just about moving goods efficiently, it is about creating opportunities for businesses, supporting communities and linking Malaysia more closely with regional and global markets," he added.

The MVV TechValley is a 400ha integrated industrial hub in the MVV City 2.0 development positioned to attract global and domestic investments across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, precision engineering, and green technology.
