VS Industry net profit contracts to RM33mil

Group revenue also declined to RM858.8mil, down 29.2%, from RM1.21bil in the corresponding quarter last year.

KUALA LUMPUR: VS Industry Bhd has posted a lower net profit of RM33.04mil in the fourth quarter ended July 31, 2025, compared with RM126.61mil in the same quarter a year ago.

Group revenue also declined to RM858.8mil, down 29.2%, or RM354.5mil, from RM1.21bil in the corresponding quarter last year.

The integrated electronics manufacturing services provider said in a Bursa Malaysia filing yesterday that the weaker performance was largely due to lower sales orders and the short-term impact of deferred order deliveries at customers’ request.

“This was attributed to the announcement of reciprocal tariffs, which created market uncertainties and dampened sentiment,” VS Industry told Bernama.

For the cumulative financial year, the company posted a lower net profit of RM36.71mill versus RM246.02mil a year earlier, while cumulative revenue fell to RM3.79bil from RM4.25bil previously.
