SNS Network 2Q profit triples to RM20.6mil on record RM1.75bil revenue

SNS Network Technology Bhd managing director Ko Yun Hung

KUALA LUMPUR: SNS Network Technology Bhd remains upbeat on the ICT industry outlook, underpinned by regular device replacement cycles, government-driven digital transformation efforts, and growing demand for flexible information and communications technology (ICT) solutions.

“To capture these opportunities, the group will continue strengthening its retail presence and expanding its Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) subscription base,” the ICT system and solutions provider said in a statement.

It noted that the ICT products and services industry is expected to sustain strong growth, supported by rapid technological advancements and the growing integration of digital technologies in daily life, education, and business operations.

SNS Network’s net profit for the second quarter ended July 31, 2025 (2Q26) surged more than threefold to RM20.6mil from RM6.3mil a year earlier, despite impairment losses on financial assets and higher selling and distribution expenses. Its earnings per share for the quarter rose to 1.23 sen from 0.39 sen.

Quarterly revenue hit a record RM1.75bil in 2Q26, up 475.8% from RM303.7mil a year earlier. The sharp growth was driven mainly by stronger sales of ICT products, particularly through its commercial and online store channels.

For the first six months to July 31, SNS Network posted revenue of RM2.57bil, up nearly fivefold from RM517.3mil a year earlier, while net profit rose to RM30.8mil from RM10.1mil.

As at July 31, SNS Network held fixed deposits, cash and bank balances of RM219.6mil. Net assets per share stood at RM0.18, up from RM0.16 on Jan 31, 2025.

The company has declared a second interim single-tier dividend of 0.25 sen per share, amounting to RM4.19mil for the financial year ending Jan 31, 2026 (FY26), payable on Nov 26, 2025.

“Our 2Q26 performance reflects the strength of our multi-channel strategy and the continued demand for ICT products across Malaysia. We are particularly encouraged by the growth in our commercial and online channels, which continue to drive revenue and profitability,” managing director Ko Yun Hung said.

He said the launch of the SNS AI Factory marks a new chapter for the group, supporting Malaysia’s AI transformation while creating avenues for sustainable long-term growth.

“Our investment in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure spans from advanced AI hardware, AI platform to professional service and support. Powered by NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, it serves as the core infrastructure for developing, training, and deploying advanced AI applications at scale.

By offering GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), SNS enables enterprises, government agencies, and academic institutions to harness cutting edge AI capabilities without the need for heavy upfront investment. This strategic initiative strengthens Malaysia’s technology ecosystem, ensures data sovereignty while positioning the company as a key enabler of Malaysia’s national AI agenda,” Ko said.
