PETALING JAYA: TH Plantations Bhd has rejected its former chief executive officer’s (CEO) appeal for reinstatement after he was terminated for alleged “misconduct”.

In a bourse filing, the plantation firm said it has evaluated the letter of appeal from Mohamed Zainurin Mohamed Zain.

“After due process and deliberation, the company has decided not to accept the appeal submitted by Zainurin. A letter to that effect has been sent to him today (Sept 18),” stated TH Plantations.

Zainurin’s contract was terminated on Aug 26. Earlier, he was placed on garden leave following the issuance of a show cause letter related to alleged unauthorised payments totalling RM5.1mil made to plantation workers.
