KUALA LUMPUR: GX Bank Bhd aims to empower 10,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through its Jaguh Niaga initiative.

GXBank said in a statement today that the programme will offer inclusive financing via GX Business Banking and access to a suite of digital business tools suitable to help local businesses grow.

GX Business Banking is a fully digital solution that simplifies processes, improves financial access, and offers savings on operating accounts and loan settlements for small businesses.

"It offers the GX Biz Account where businesses enjoy daily interest of 1.0 per cent per annum (plus up to 1.5 per cent per annum bonus interest for GXBank ecosystem partners), zero monthly fees, no minimum balance, and 24/7 customer support.

"Another product is GX Biz FlexiLoan. It offers instant access to growth capital of up to RM150,000, no hidden charges on loan application or utilisation, and savings are made on interest when settling the loan early, among others," said GXBank, which is Malaysia’s first digital bank.

GXBank deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer Hildah Hamzah said the bank is not only setting new industry standards, but also investing in MSMEs that power more than 95 per cent of Malaysia’s economy.

"Banking should not be a barrier to growth. We are reimagining it by leveraging technology and bringing together partners with intuitive tools that share our passion to help entrepreneurs save time and money.

"Ultimately, the Jaguh Niaga programme is about them becoming champions of their trade,” she said. - Bernama
