​​​​​​​Etiqa General Takaful gets new CEO


New Etiqa General Takaful CEO Khairoel Faiezy Hasnan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Etiqa General Takaful Bhd (EGTB) has appointed Khairoel Faiezy Hasnan as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective Sept 1.

He replaces Shahrul Azuan Mohamed, who retired after serving Etiqa for 20 years, including five years as CEO of EGTB.

In a statement, EGTB said Khairoel Faiezy will report directly to Etiqa Insurance and Takaful group CEO Kamaludin Ahmad in his new role.

Khairoel Faiezy has 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, including previous roles at NMG Consulting and AIG Malaysia.

He joined Etiqa in 2014 as head of pricing for general products, responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and developing robust pricing strategies for EGTB and Etiqa General Insurance Bhd. — Bernama
