A pushback on soaring hedge fund fees


HEDGE fund investors, fed up with paying billions of dollars in opaque fees, are starting to fight back – with their wallets. 

Texas’ US$200bil pension fund for teachers, New Mexico’s US$17bil pension plan and multifamily office Erlen Capital Management are among a group of investors shunning funds that charge fees they say eat too much into returns.
