Softer sales volumes forecast for PetDag in 2H

Analysts said PetDag could see volatile commercial earnings due to oil price swings and cyclical demand.

PETALING JAYA: Despite weaker second-quarter results, Petronas Dagangan Bhd’s (PetDag) results for the first half of this year (1H25) are still within market expectations, although analysts caution about soft sales volumes ahead.

PetDag, which saw at least two rating downgrades yesterday, could also see volatile commercial earnings due to oil price swings and cyclical demand, according to analysts.
