KUALA LUMPUR: SD Guthrie Bhd
has appointed Mohd Haris Mohd Arshad, 53, as deputy group managing director (MD), effective Sept 1.
In a press release, the group said Mohd Haris was previously its group chief operating officer (COO) and had laid the foundations for the group’s “OneStream” business model.
He has been a strong advocate for mechanisation, automation, and digitalisation efforts in the industry. He joined the group in 2014 to head the downstream manufacturing unit before advancing through the ranks to COO for the downstream segment in 2017. — Bernama
