Censof unit bags RM12.4mil OSC licensing system contract for local councils

KUALA LUMPUR: Censof Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has secured a RM12.4mil contract from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government to develop the One Stop Centre (OSC) Licensing System for the local authorities.

The financial management software company said the contract will run from Sept 1, 2025, to Aug 31, 2027, entailing the development, integration, migration, testing, commissioning, training, and maintenance of a comprehensive licensing platform designed to streamline processes across local authorities.

The OSC Licensing System will serve as a centralised digital platform to standardise and automate end-to-end licensing processes for local councils nationwide.

By providing real-time monitoring, enhanced

compliance features, and user-friendly digital access, the system aims to improve efficiency, transparency and service delivery to both businesses and the rakyat.

“We are honoured to be entrusted by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government to deliver this crucial digital initiative.

"The OSC Licensing System will empower local authorities to serve communities more efficiently by centralising processes, strengthening compliance and ensuring transparency across the ecosystem," said Censof group managing director Ameer Shaik Mydin in a statement.
