SAM Engineering 1Q net profit jumps 60% to RM16.2mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Sam Engineering & Equipment (M) Bhd, which posted a 60% jump in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30 (1Q26), remains cautiously optimistic on the long-term outlook for its aerospace and semiconductor equipment segments.

In 1Q26, SAM Engineering recorded a net profit of RM16.2mil, up 60.3% from RM10.1mil a year earlier. Earnings per share rose to 2.39 sen from 1.49 sen previously.
