CEKD acquires printing firm for RM3mil


PETALING JAYA: CEKD Bhd is acquiring the entire equity interest in printing firm Shin Fuji Labels Sdn Bhd for RM3mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the die-cutting solutions provider said it had acquired Shin Fuji from the latter’s shareholders, Yap Sing and Yap Teng Wui.

“The proposed acquisition is in line with the company and its subsidiaries’ principal activity of manufacturing of die-cutting moulds and trading of related consumables, tools and accessories and would provide an opportunity for the group to venture into the label printing industry.

“Through this proposed acquisition, the group expects to tap into new customer segments and growth opportunities.”
