Tasco set to gain from warehouse expansion by 2026

MBSB Research said it raised its financial year ending March 30, 2027 (FY27) and FY28 forecasts by 4%.

PETALING JAYA: Analysts have raised their forecasts for logistics company Tasco Bhd primarily to reflect the contribution from its additional 400,000 sq ft Shah Alam warehouse and 300,000 sq ft Northport warehouse, both of which are under construction and slated for completion by May 2026.

MBSB Research said it raised its financial year ending March 30, 2027 (FY27) and FY28 forecasts by 4%.

It said Tasco’s first quarter of FY26 results were within expectations, making up 21% of its full-year forecast.

Typically, the first quarter is seasonally soft, with stronger activity in the second half, driven by year-end holidays and new product launches by customers, the research house noted.

“We expect a broad-based recovery driven by increased volumes from newly secured customers.”
