Pertama Digital appoints Lim Nasrul Halim as CEO


PETALING JAYA: Pertama Digital Bhd has appointed Lim Nasrul Halim as its chief executive officer with effect from Aug 6.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the financial services company said Halim's areas of expertise include strategic business development and global brand expansion; advanced performance management systems (including objectives and key results and metrics development); and fundraising and venture capital management, particularly in the technology sector.

“During his 20 years of corporate leadership, Halim (40) has held key roles across diverse industries, including guiding a government-linked corporation in Malaysia, contributing to Enterprise Development Centre Singapore and spearheading growth for global tech companies and renowned international brands.

“His ability to execute large-scale strategies and deliver sustainable growth underscores his expertise in navigating complex markets, fostering innovation, and achieving transformative business outcomes.”

For its first quarter ended March 31, 2025, Pertama Digital reported a net profit of RM93,000, compared with a net loss of RM1.6mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue rose to RM2.35mil from RM1.69mil a year earlier.
