Luster reports industrial accident at glove unit

PETALING JAYA: Luster Industries Bhd has announced that an industrial accident has occurred at the Selangor factory of its 56%-owned subsidiary, Glovmaster Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Luster said the incident involved the collapse of a storage rack at the factory.

“The details are currently being assessed, and the company will make further announcements if necessary should there be any material developments or adverse impact on operations as a result of this incident.

“The board of directors and management express their concern and are committed to ensuring the wellbeing of all affected parties.”
