Solarvest's JV signs PPA for 30MWac solar PV plant in Brunei


KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Holdings Bhd's 34%-owned joint venture company, Seri Suria Power (B) Sdn Bhd, has inked a power purchase agreement with the government of Brunei for a 30MWac solar photovoltaic power plant.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Solarvest said the plant for generating renewable energy will be located on a remediated landfill.

Seri Suria Power is a JV between Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solarvest - with Khazanah Satu Sdn Bhd and Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd.

Solarvest expects positive future earnings contribution from the facility from the commercial operation date for a span of 25 years.
