PETALING JAYA: Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust
(Sunway-REIT) has appointed Ng Bee Lien, 52, as its acting chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from June 16.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Sunway-REIT said its current CEO, Chen Kok Peng, 42, had resigned to take up the position of chief financial officer (CFO) at Sunway Bhd.
Sunway-REIT said Ng will assume the role of CEO on an interim basis until a suitable candidate is identified and appointed.
“Ng will concurrently retain her existing position as CFO of the company during this interim period.
“Ng has more than 25 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, strategic planning, investment evaluation and investment evaluation across various industries including property investment, engineering and infrastructure projects where she held various financial positions,” it said.
