Tariff pause to provide breather


PETALING JAYA: Despite the de-escalation of the tariff war between the United States and China, uncertainties still linger in the economy as negotiations continue to take place during the 90-day pause.

Yesterday, there was a significant easing of trade tensions between the United States and China when the countries agreed to suspend most tariffs on each other’s goods for 90 days, reducing reciprocal tariffs between both nations to 10% from 125%.
