LFE Corp wins RM51mil data centre job


PETALING JAYA: LFE Corp Bhd has accepted the letter of award from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd for mechanical, electrical and plumbing fit-out work at the hyperscale data centre in Elmina Business Park 1A, Selangor, worth RM50.58mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and engineering company said the job entails construction and completion works, including testing and commissioning of electrical fit-out works in facility support area and data centre halls including low voltage (LV) busduct, LV panels, LV submain cables, lighting control panels and lighting on integrated server rack (Brooklyn) and other associated work.

The contract will commence on July 1, 2025 and will be completed on June 10, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of LFE Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 and up to the expiry of the contract.

“The company does not expect any material risk arising from the contract, other than normal operational risk associated with the contract, which the group would take appropriate measures to minimise.”
