PETALING JAYA: Southern Score Builders Bhd
’s 51%-owned subsidiary, SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted an award from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd to undertake a subcontract for RM51.38mil at Elmina Business Park in Selangor.
Southern Score Builders described the project in a statement as “Electrical Package 3: Construction and Completion including Testing and Commissioning of LV Power Cabling Works Supplied from IT USS to Data Centre Hall Busduct and Other Associated Work”.
The project will commence on July 1, 2025 and is expected to be completed on Aug 24, 2026. According to executive director and CEO Gan Yee Hin, the contract is the first secured by its mechanical and electrical division at SJEE since the acquisition was completed in January 2025.
“This award underscores our deep technical expertise and our proven track record as this is SJEE’s eigth data centre project.”
