Meta Bright secures RM30mil contract from China State Construction Engineering Corp


PETALING JAYA: Meta Bright Group Bhd has secured a RM30mil concrete supply contract from Fortune 500 company China State Construction Engineering Corp for the Boulevard 360 Bundusan project in Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

In a statement, the Main Market-listed diversified conglomerate said the contract was secured by its 70% subsidiary, Expogaya Sdn Bhd.

It said the contract is an initial supply order for the existing project progress, with potential for additional orders based on Expogaya's performance and delivery.

“Boulevard 360 Bundusan is a significant mixed-use development poised to transform Kota Kinabalu’s urban landscape. The project encompasses three modern residential towers and approximately 330,000 sq ft of commercial space, aiming to create a vibrant community hub in the region.

“With a gross development value of RM1.1bil, Boulevard 360 Bundusan is set to become a key destination in Penampang, Kota Kinabalu.”

Expogaya, recognised as Sabah’s largest ready-mix concrete supplier, operates 16 batching plants across the state, boasting a daily production capacity of 7,200 cubic metres.

The company maintains a comprehensive fleet of 318 units, including mixer trucks, dump trucks, concrete pumps, and shovels, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to various project sites.
