UEM Edgenta secures RM735mil hospital support contract in Singapore


PETALING JAYA: UEM Edgenta Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM735.2mil for the provision of hospital support services to a number of hospitals in Singapore.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract was secured by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, UEMS Solutions Pte Ltd (UEMS), from ALPS Pte Ltd.

The contract is set to be for a duration of between 32 months and five years, with the earliest commencement date on May 1, 2025.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of UEM Edgenta Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025,” it said.

It noted risk factors are mostly operational in nature and includes changes in political, economic and regulatory conditions.

“UEMS has extensive experience and strong track record to undertake hospital support services. To mitigate the operational risk, the group shall ensure strict compliance to its operational policies and procedures in the delivery of services required under the contract.”
