Rammsol's indirect unit to partner Thai university for AI development


KUALA LUMPUR: Ramssol Group Bhd has announced its indirect subsidiary Geekstart Company Ltd is collaborating with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) to act as a central unit for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology solutions for the government sector and private organisations in Thailand and abroad.

GeekStart is a digital technology company that is principally involved in the software development for the web, mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Ramssoll said the agreement - which shall be effective for five years and may be extended - is in line with Geekstart's efforts to expand its software

development technology business.

The partnership is expected to  provide additional revenue stream and enhance the

earnings base of the company and its subsidiaries.
