Sapura Energy bags RM40mil contract


UOBKH Research has retained its earnings forecasts for Sapura.

PETALING JAYA: Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd, a full unit of Sapura Energy Bhd (SEB), has bagged a RM40mil contract for the maintenance, construction and modification services for offshore facilities in Peninsular Malaysia

The job will come under SEB’s operations and maintenance (O&M) business division, having been effective from March 10, 2025 and will last for a period of six months, with an option for an additional six-month extension.

SEB said the scope of work covers topside major maintenance, facilities improvement, hook-up and commissioning for brownfield and greenfield facilities, riser maintenance, pig trap system maintenance, and living quarters maintenance.

Chief executive officer for O&M at SEB, Nasri Mehat, said he will personally oversee all contracts within the division to ensure the facilities of the group’s clients remain safe and operate at optimum efficiency.
