PETALING JAYA: Mayu Global Group Bhd’s executive director, Tan Kim Hee, has been detained by Bukit Aman Police to assist in an ongoing investigation.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the Penang-based manufacturer said Kim Hee was detained on Wednesday.

“At this stage, Mayu Global has not been informed whether the investigation is related to the company or any of its subsidiaries and the nature of the investigation remains unknown.

“During this period, the remaining executive directors, namely Goh Chin Heng, Chow Choon Hoong and Tan Qian Hui, will temporarily assume Kim Hee’s roles and responsibilities to ensure the continuity of the group's operations.”
