Rohas wins RM93mil EPCC services job from TNB

PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd has accepted a letter of intent from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services worth RM92.8mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Rohas said the contract is for the overhead line (OHL) quad-circuit 275/275 kilovolts double-circuit transmission line to the new Kenyir gas insulated substation.

“The time for completion of works for the OHL project is two years from the commencement date.”

Rohas said the OHL project is subject to the inherent risks associated with EPCC contracts, including fluctuations in material prices.

“However, with the experience and expertise in similar EPCC projects, these risks are expected to be effectively mitigated.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the OHL project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Rohas group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2025, 2026 and 2027 and a positive financial impact is expected on the earnings per share and net assets per share of the group.”
