Itmax subsidiary appointed Mersing smart parking operator


KUALA LUMPUR: ITMax System Bhd's 65% owned subsidiary Southmax Sdn Bhd has accepted the appointment by Mersing District Council (MDM) to be the smart parking operator for the open space parking under its purview.

The contract is for a period of 15 years from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2040.

According to a filing with Bursa malaysia, 70% of the revenue from all parking and parking compound allocations will go to Southmax while the remaining 30% will go to MDM.
