Dutch Lady Milk Industries appoints new MD


Dutch Lady Milk Industries' new managing director, Veronika Winanti Wahyu Utami

KUALA LUMPUR: Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd (DLMI) has appointed Veronika Winanti Wahyu Utami as its new managing director.

The group said in a statement the appointment will be effective from April 15, 2025.

Utami will succeed Ramjeet Kaur Vurik, who has held the position since July 2021, and will be transitioning to the role of global director of marketing and innovations at FrieslandCampina Professional and Trading in the Netherlands.

Utami, who is currently marketing director for consumer dairy and specialised nutrition at Frisian Flag Indonesia, will lead DLMI's operations and report directly to Corine Tap, presiden to Asia, FrieslandCampina.

Prior to joining Frisian Flag Indonesia, Utami spent 20 years at Unilever, joining the organisation in 2002 and took on many marketing leadership roles in Indonesia and the region.

Utami was appointed fabric cleaning director for South East Asia and New Zealand at Unilever Asia Pte Ltd from January 2018 till March 2019 and achieved notable successes which culminated in her being appointed to

the Unilever Indonesia Board of Directors in 2019.

"Utami’s expertise will be instrumental in navigating DLMI’s next phase of growth and development," said the group.
