KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd
over the sharp fall in its share price.
At the close today, the counter tumbled 36.56%, or 17 sen to 29.5 sen with 26.75 million shares traded. Year-toidate, it has fallen some 35%.
“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the UMA query which will be posted at Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcement when making their investment decision,” Bursa Malaysia said.
Silver Ridge has been asked to disclose any corporate development relating to its business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity, including those in the stage of negotiations or discussions.
