VSolar wins RM8.79mil solar farm job in Negeri Sembilan


PETALING JAYA: Vsolar Group Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Founder Energy Sdn Bhd to be the subcontractor for the development of a 30.05 megawatts-peak large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generating facility in Negeri Sembilan, worth RM8.79mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, VSolar said the scope of work shall be supply, civil and structural works, commissioning and testing of the solar PV farm and interconnection facility for the project.

The company said the targeted completion date for the project will be July 31, 2025.

“The LOA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the company,” it said.

“There is no assurance that the LOA will not be exposed to risks such as inability to fulfil the terms and conditions of the LOA. The completion of the works may be subject to various business risks including, amongst others, cost overruns and works completion delays,” said the company.
