Al-Salam REIT to dispose of shop buildings for RM10mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Al-Salam Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) has disposed of two shop buildings in Bandar Sunway in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, for RM10mil cash.

In a bourse filing, the manager of the REIT said the units comprise of a four-storey intermediate terraced shop/office building and a four-storey corner terraced shop/office building with a combined net lettable area of 13,528 sq ft.

Al-Salam REIT said its original cost of investment in the properties in Sept 29, 2015, was RM7.8mil.

The buildings are both fully occupied. The tenant, QSR Stores Sdn Bhd, will vacate the properties prior to the purchaser taking possession.
