KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Construction Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd has inked the deal to undertake construction works related to the Rapid Transit System Transport Oriented Development (RTS TOD) at Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The RM1.5bil contract, which was penned with Sunway Integrated Properties Sdn Bhd, the property arm of Sunway Bhd, comprises the construction of a multi-storey park and ride building for the RTS TOD Project, drop-off and pick-up facility, immigration customs and quarantine complex connection, the perimeter ring road and retaining walls.
