Exsim wins RM128mil in fit-out and renovation contracts


PETALING JAYA: Exsim Hospitality Bhd, via wholly-owned subsidiary, Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd has been awarded several letters of awards and work orders for various fit-out related work with an aggregate contract value of RM127.9mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Exsim said the contracts include a letter of award (LOA) from Uni Land Sdn Bhd for design, renovation, refurbishment and interior fit-out works for a hotel at Empire City Damansara, with a total contract sum of RM100.0mil.

The company also bagged a LOA from Exsim Development Sdn Bhd for architecture, structure, mechanical and engineering, interior design and fit out works for a two-storey show house in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur, worth RM12.6mil.

The company added that it had won a LOA from Exsim Lumba Kuda Sdn Bhd for renovation, interior design and build works for the Lumba Kuda sales gallery and show unit at Plaza Pelangi, Johor worth RM8.5mil.

The company also secured a LOA from Exsim MX4 Sdn Bhd for the execution and completion of Kwasa Plot 3 & 4 show units interior design works and demolishing works for a total contract sum of approximately RM6.1mil; as well as a work order from Mightyprop Sdn Bhd for reinstatement work for the Empire City Sales Gallery 5 for a total contract sum of RM0.7mil.

“Commencement for the contract works above will begin immediately with completion dates ranging from one month to 16 months with the longest being for the LOA from Uni Land Sdn Bhd.

“Arising therefrom, these contracts are expected to contribute positively to the company throughout the duration of the contracts.”
