PETALING JAYA: Scicom (MSC) Bhd has secured a letter of award for a digital platform placement centre from the Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body (GITC).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the initial term of the contract is for 15 years, subject to renewal at the end of the period.

“The contract is to be based on a variable business model over the term of the contract.”

Scicom said the contract involved the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital platform, utilising an innovative self-funding mechanism.

“It is aligned with GITC’s objectives of modernising the Technical and Vocational Education and Training or TVET sector. The contract highlights Scicom’s expertise in technology solutions and will further strengthen its position in the public sector.

“It is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and financial performance of Scicom with effect from financial year 2026,” it added.
