Able Global executives released by MACC


KUALA LUMPUR: Able Global Bhd confirms that its chief executive officer Edward Goh Swee Wang and chairman Ng Keng Hoe have been released from remand by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Both Goh and Ng are also executive directors of the company.

Able Global said in a statement yesterday that Goh’s recent remand by the MACC was to assist in the graft buster’s ongoing investigation on matters related to Ng’s private company affairs.

“The company reiterates that its chief executive officer was remanded solely to facilitate the investigation and is not in a position to comment on the ongoing investigation.

“He has resumed his duties and business operations of the company continue as usual,” said the dairy manufacturer and can maker.

The counter closed unchanged at RM1.51 yesterday with 1.28 million shares traded.
