PETALING JAYA: MGB Bhd has accepted a letter of award from LYK Architect Sdn Bhd for a development project at Cameron Highlands, Pahang, worth RM194.72mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property construction firm said the project will entail the development of a two-storey fast-food restaurant as well as a 22-storey service apartment.

MGB said the contract will commence on Feb 17, 2025 and be for a period of 28 months.

“The contract will increase and enhance the existing order book of the company and its group of companies. With the contract in hand, the group’s current outstanding order book is of approximately RM1.27bil.

“The contract will have no effect on the issued share capital of the company, but it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company and the group over the duration of the contract.”
