Citaglobal subsidiary acquires KL land for RM73mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Citaglobal Bhd's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Sinergi Dayang Sdn Bhd is acquiring a 6,410 sqm parcel of leasehold land in Kuala Lumpur from Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd for RM73mil.

In a bourse filing, Citaglobal said the land's strategic location, high visibility and excellent accessibility as well as strong connectivity to public transport infrastructure make it a highly desirable address in KL.

"Given the increasing scarcity of sizeable, well-positioned commercial land in the city, the board is confident that this acquisition presents a strategic opportunity for long-term value creation and growth," it added.
