Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar

has appointed Datuk Seri Dr Shahril Mokhtar as its independent and non-executive chairman effective Feb 1.
The transport system solutions company also redesignated Datuk Wong Sak Kuan, 56, as a non-independent, non-executive director, effective 1 February.
Shahril, 52, sits on the Taghill Holdings Bhd and West River Bhd board.
He started his career at Maybank Bhd, later holding senior positions in various industries including transportation and property.
He was the CEO cum executive director of Mass Rapid Transit Line 1 and Line 2 projects. He has held managing director position at several companies, including Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, CSH Alliance Bhd, Sungai Klang Expressway (SKESB) Sdn Bhd and Green Packet Bhd.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from Universiti Utara Malaysia, as well as a Master of Management degree from Universiti Malaya.
