Bursa expects 60 new listings this year

PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia’s trading business will remain buoyant as the exchange operator expects 60 new listings this year while its derivatives business’ trading volume will be driven by volatility in the contract’s underlying markets.

The exchange welcomed 55 new listings last year and helped contribute to the higher average daily value in securities traded by 52.9% on-year to RM3.2bil.
