Pansar wins RM478mil Sarawak project


PETALING JAYA: Pansar Bhd, an engineering solutions provider, has been awarded a project worth RM477.68mil through an invited tender by the Sarawak Public Works Department for the design and build of a road from Simpang Tanah Puteh to Gedong Isthmus.

The company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the project is part of package one of the Serian-Gedong-Samarahan dual carriageway highway from Simpang Rayang/Munggu Kopi/Tanah Puteh/Sebemban to Gedong district.

It involved the design and construction of an 8.5km four-lane dual carriageway including two bridges, an autonomous rapid transit reserve, bicycle tracks, utility corridors, road lighting, road furniture and signs.

The project, which would contribute progressively to the earnings of the company, would commence next month and take 36 months to complete.
