Pertama Digital appoints Lim Nasrul Halim as its CEO designate


PDB has received an extension of time from Bursa Malaysia to submit its regularisation plan by the first week of February 2025.

PETALING JAYA: Pertama Digital Bhd (PDB) has appointed Lim Nasrul Halim as its chief executive officer (CEO) designate, with effect from Jan 21, 2025.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the appointment of Lim as CEO designate is part of PDB’s strategic leadership succession plan to drive innovation, strengthen its position in the digital sector and deliver value to all Malaysians.

“A subsequent announcement will be made pertaining to his official appointment as CEO of the company upon receipt of his work permit.

“During his 20 years of corporate leadership, Lim has held key roles across diverse industries, including guiding a government-linked corporation in Malaysia, contributing to Enterprise Development Centre Singapore and spearheading growth for global tech companies and renowned international brands.”

As CEO designate, PDB said Lim will spearhead several high-impact initiatives that are designed to position the company as a frontrunner in Malaysia’s digital transformation.
