KUALA LUMPUR: Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd has appointed Ho Wai Mun as chief operating officer (COO) and Lee Junyan as chief technical officer (CTO).

The waste management and recycling solutions provider, in a statement, said the appointments align with its expansion through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and organic growth, as well as the individuals' long-standing contributions to the group and industry.

Ho has over 12 years with the company, specialising in business development, marketing, and operations. A HELP University graduate, he progressed from business development executive to senior general manager.

As a Certified Professional in Scheduled Waste Management, he has led client relations and sustainability efforts, and is now appointed COO, Tex Cycle said.

Meanwhile, Lee holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia. He joined Tex Cycle in 2016 as a technical engineer and led key renewable energy projects, including a waste-to-energy plant.

As senior technical manager, he drove R&D efforts to improve efficiency and sustainability. Now as CTO, he will lead technical innovation and renewable energy initiatives.
