EA Technique proposes corporate rebranding to 'Avangaad'

KUALA LUMPUR: EA Technique (M) Bhd has proposed a name change to Avangaad Bhd and a new corporate identity, which aligns with its expectations to uplift its Practice Note 17 (PN17) status by the first quarter of 2025.

In a statement, the company said it will table the proposal for shareholder approval in a circular and at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting.

"The proposed name, Avangaad Bhd is derived from 'Avante', meaning 'moving forward' in Latin, and a twist on 'vanguard', symbolising the company’s strategic advancement." said the company.

EA Technique executive director Datuk Wira Mubarak Hussain Akhta Husin said the proposed name change reflects its strategic purpose and marks a significant chapter in its pursuit of growth and industry leadership.

"We are confident that this new identity will resonate deeply with our shareholders, customers, and partners as we enter this new phase of development," he added.

Subject to shareholder consent and regulatory clearances, the transition is expected to be finalised by 1Q 2025.

The company said it will undertake a comprehensive rebranding process, including updates to its logo, branding materials, and digital platforms.
